He is widely acknowledged as a professional researcher in social development field, public finance expert, columnist in the state. He has extensively worked on development economics, public finance and policy issues in Odisha. He has worked on development research with various national and international organizations. Heholds a doctorate degree in Analytical and Applied Economics from Utkal University, Odisha.
